Did you know?

It is a legal requirement that any Air Conditioning system must be installed/maintained/repaired by an F Gas qualified engineer in order to comply with Government regulations and also to ensure your warranty is valid.
You can check whether an engineer is qualified by asking to:

  • See their skill card, which will show they have been on a 'safe handling of Refrigerants' Course. ALL engineers will have a skillcard.
  • OR carry out a search on either REFCOM or F-GAS websites.

  • A regularly serviced air conditioning unit will have a far longer lifespan, will work at its optimum capacity and be more energy efficient and economic than a unit that does not receive regular maintenance.
  • It is our experience that the vast majority of expensive air conditioning repairs occur as a result of systems which have not been subject to any regular maintenance or servicing.
  • Symptom indicators of a poorly maintained air conditioning systems could be as follows: poor airflow, stale odours, loss of performance, dirty appearance, sludge in drain line, Increased energy bills, prone to freezing, leaking water, to name a few.
  • Typically we would normally recommend one service visit per year, but for more critical use, e.g. server rooms, trading floors, retail shops and restaurants, we would normally advise that your air conditioning Maintenance Contract allows for more frequent service visits.

LP Air Conditioning employees are highly qualified, trained and are F-GAS certified.
We can provide a prompt, friendly service should a breakdown occur.

We have a modern fleet of service vehicles, which are fitted out with all the necessary tools, plus spare parts for urgent repairs. Upon completion of each repair, a detailed service report sheet will be provided, detailing all work carried out.

Your new air conditioning system will also carry a warranty. Length of warranty is specific to each manufacturer and whether you used one of their accredited installers to carry out your installation. In order for this warranty to remain valid, you will need an F-GAS engineer to carry out an annual service on your system. Air Con systems may need more than one service per year, this is dependent on the environment they are installed in. Without proof of an annual service, your warranty could be void.

LP AIR CONDITIONING understands the purpose and need of accurate COMMISSIONING of your air conditioning system. It is more than just putting systems into operation > regulating flows and verifying the system preforms according to its particular manufacturers specifications & design.

Commissioning is as important as good design and maintenance.

LP Air Conditioning utilises good commissioning practices to carry out fault finding and a system health check. This analyses each individual system for efficient and cost-effective operation, which ensures the equipment operates at its optimum capacity.
